What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use the Information?
Account and Contact Information:
When you sign up for our newsletter, apply for a StyloPay service or otherwise we obtain your personal and contact information that may include your name, username, password, email address, home address and mobile number. By providing us with your mobile number, you authorize us to contact you via text message (SMS) at that mobile number. You are provided with option to opt-out of receiving these messages at any time, you will be required to write us a request at firstname.lastname@example.org or by responding “STOP” to any text message. Thereby you acknowledge that when you opt out of receiving text messages, your use of services with StyloPay services will be impacted. However, though you unsubscribe from some of these messages, we still reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for account recovery purposes. In addition, as part of the StyloPay application process, you may be asked to provide information such as your social security number, date of birth and employment, address and income history.
Web Browser Information:
When you browse through our website we automatically collect information like your IP address that we can use to fight fraud including spam and malware and analyse your interaction with StyloPay. We may provide these information to our third parties and allow them to use and help us determine how often individuals use parts of the Portal Services so that we can analyze and improve those services.
Email, SMS, and Push Notification Communications:
We may collect your information out of our other mode of communications like email, SMS or other text message or push notification such as opening of an email, reading a text message or receive a push notification. We use that information to personalize, improve and continue to operate the StyloPay Services.
Information Related to Advertising and Interest-Based Advertisements:
We may serve advertisements, and allow third party digital marketing partners, including third party advertising servers, advertising agencies, advertising networks, advertising exchanges, advertising vendors and research firms, to serve advertisements through the StyloPay services. These advertisements, which may be both for our own products and services and for third party products and services that we think might be of interest to you, may be targeted to users who fit certain general profile categories or display certain preferences or behaviors (“Interest-Based Ads”). Information for Internet-Based Ads (including Personal Information) may be provided to us by a user, or derived from the usage patterns of particular users on the Portal Services and/or services of Third Party Service Providers. Such information may be gathered through tracking users’ activities across time and unaffiliated properties. To accomplish this, we or our service providers may deliver a pixel (known as a “web beacon”) from a digital marketing partner to you through the Portal Services. Web beacons allow our digital marketing partners to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable our digital marketing partners to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites, and to view, edit or set their own cookies on your browser, just as if you had requested a web page from their site.
Information Provided to Us by Third Parties
How the Information provided to us by third parties:
To use your personal information described in above section, we may obtain those information from you when you purchase cards or use related services, we may obtain personal information about you from the distributors, or other partners supporting the distribution and servicing of, those cards to help us with customer authentication and credit-related agreements. StyloPay may also collect information about you from third parties that perform services and analytics for us and collect your information such as demographic and interest data such as gender, age range, location, sports enthusiast etc. These third parties may include credit bureaus, data providers, fraud detection services and data analytics providers.
What we do with the Information provided to us by third parties:
When you visit our website, you provide us with your email address or mobile phone number through “refer-a-friend” options or social networking platforms. We use these email addresses and mobile phone numbers to send promotional offers, free trials, card products and services purchased by others for your use and StyloPay promotional marketing information, all in accordance with applicable law. In case you wish to stop receiving marketing promotional information, please see the section below “How to Limit the Sharing and Use of Your Information”.
By registering your details with us, you also consent to our using and/or disclosing your personal data for the following purposes: to selected third parties for the purposes of providing and operating our services; and Providing or arranging for third parties to provide customer care/help desk facilities (which may involve disclosing your information to third parties solely for those purposes).
In providing our service to you we may be required to transmit your personal data to 3rd parties located outside the EEA in countries, which do not have the same standards of protection for personal data as UK. By registering your personal data with us, you agree to such transfer and use of your personal data. We will at all times ensure that 3rd parties to whom your data is transferred have committed that they will comply with our data protection standards by putting in place a contract to ensure your information is adequately protected.
Maintaining your account data
As a registered customer, you have the ability to log onto your account using your username and password. Once you have logged in, you have the ability and obligation to maintain the accuracy of your personal data. If you update your data, you authorize us to re- verify the accuracy of this personal data. Keeping your account current will assist us in compliance matters and ensure you have more accurate access to your account.
Security and Data Retention
We secure your personal data and protect it from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We secure your personal data on our servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. All personal information is transmitted to other Websites through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted protection. We authorise our employees to access your information only when they need it to do their work, and we require companies that work for us to protect your information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
Accessing and Updating
You are entitled to see the information held about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If you wish to do this, please contact us. We are entitled by law to charge a reasonable fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
The StyloPay Services are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 years. In any case if you allow a child to use your device or card services, you should be aware that their personal information could be collected as described in this policy. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children to ensure that no information is collected from a child without parental permission.
If we become aware that a child under 13 has opened an account or otherwise provided us with Personal Information, we take steps to terminate the child’s account and delete such information.
